Workshop Yoga

Yoga is the state in which the observable human being is connected to the essential human being, that is to say in which the human being has regained his true nature and lives in accordance with it. The yoga technique is a discipline through which the human being tries to reach the state of yoga. Yoga provides mental relaxation and also results in a supple body. In short, a relaxed mind in a supple body.

In the gardens of villa la Vida and Rosa or on the beach, yoga lessons are given every morning from different angles. After this, it is possible to take a nice walk and fill in the rest of the day yourself.

Bibi Rossmann

Two years ago, I moved from Denmark to Spain with my husband and two small dogs. The best decision we have ever made.
Alongside my job as COO in a small Danish property management company, for 30 years I pursued a career as an instructor in the fitness industry. I have done almost everything from aerobics, dance classes, Zumba, Les Mills BodyPump, Bodybalance and Core, and finally YOGA.
In Spain, I have continued to run YOGA classes, first on the beach and then in my own little studio.
Besides YOGA, I also offer classes in Bodybalance and Core training.

HATHA YOGA
I describe my yoga classes as ‘Hatha Yoga’, but it is simply any practice that involves physical techniques. The literal translation of ‘Hatha’ from Sanskrit is also ‘force’ or ‘effort’. We can also say that the word Hatha comes from the Sanskrit roots ‘ha’, which means ‘sun’, and ‘tha’, which means ‘moon’. Yoga means union. So Hatha Yoga is about balancing these two sides of ourselves, the masculine and the feminine, the outer and the inner, the active and the passive, the light and the dark. Hatha yoga has a long history and has evolved over time.
In a class you can expect postures, breath work and visualisation. Typically slower and with static holds than other forms of yoga. In my classes, you can expect to start with checking in and withdrawing the senses, some pranayama (breathing), some movement usually involving sun salutations or variations, some more static poses in standing, sitting and lying down, and finish with a relaxation.

VINYASA YOGA – ’FLOW YOGA’
Vinyasa Yoga is a series of YOGA postures put together into a flow sequence. So instead of holding a YOGA posture or pose for a long time and then moving onto something else, you’re flowing between the postures, linking them all together, and you’re linking the postures together using your breath, usually inhaling for one movement and exhaling to the next. Once you engage your breath and the movement together, it feels like magic. Plus using your breath in a conscious way like that whie also flowing and moving is amazing for your mental and physical health.
As in the Hatha Yoga class,  you can expect to start with checking in and withdrawing the senses, some pranayama (breathing), and finish with a relaxation.
